A relaxed consultation before your baby arrives, giving us the chance to connect and talk through your birth plans. I’ll guide the conversation with my own list of questions, and you’re welcome to ask me anything too! Your partner, family, and other birth supporters are more than welcome to join us. This can take place either in person, or virtually, depending on your location./ On-call availability
I’ll be on call for your birth and reachable 24/7 from week 37 until your birth. If it looks like your little one might arrive earlier than expected, we can adjust your on-call period to start whenever feels best for you./ Complete birth coverage
Full photographic documentation from active labour until 1.5 hours after you’ve given birth, capturing your experience thoughtfully and quietly.

Inviting someone into your birth space is a big deal, and a big decision! It’s so important that you feel 100% comfortable with everyone you invite into your space, and trust them wholeheartedly to support you in having your best birth.
If you’re unsure about having me as your birth photographer, have a few questions or would like to get to know me a little better - I’m more than happy to talk things through over the phone or via email, whichever feels best for you.

The total cost is $1,800 NZD.
To secure your spot, a $500 on-call retainer is requested at the time of booking, this amount is applied toward your total investment.
The remaining balance can be paid at any time, but is due by the time I come on call for you at 37 weeks, when I’m fully available to support you and your birth. -

If it feels helpful, we can set up a short phone call before booking. A relaxed space to talk through your questions, get to know each other, and make sure you feel confident before going ahead with booking.
3. Securing your due window
When you’re ready to book, a $500 on-call retainer is required to secure your due window and my commitment to be available at your birth. This amount is applied toward your total birth investment.
You’re all booked in! You’re welcome to reach out at any time throughout your pregnancy if plans change, or any questions or thoughts come up. We’ll next meet at our birth consultation in your third trimester, with the remaining balance due before my on-call period starts at 37 weeks.
Having your birth photographed allows the transient details of your birth to be held forever. The little moments you may have missed while you were in the depths of labour - a gentle squeeze of your hand, a tearful glance, the steady way your birth supporters cared for you. You’ll be able to witness the incredible strength and power in the way you laboured and birthed, through the eyes of those around you.
A birth photographer gives your birth supporters the freedom to focus on you entirely and be fully present through each moment without distraction, so their hands, words and attention can remain exactly where they’re needed the most.
This is where I come in. A quiet, calm presence in the room, moving gently and intuitively capturing your birth as peacefully and unobtrusively as possible with your safety, comfort and emotional space always being my first priority.
Birth photos can also become a powerful tool for reflection, helping you return to the emotions of your birth, to process them, honour them, and when needed, support healing 🤎
